The 86 series is developed by Toyota and Subaru
The cars are based on a boxer engine that is located front-mid and has a rear wheel drive. With 2 + 2 seats it is a sport coupe that get produced from 2012 till now. The BRZ stays for Boxer engine, Rear-wheel drive, and Z is standing for the zenith. The difference against the Toyota 86 are a different grille and headlight assembly, a different front fender vent and the design of the front fascia. Also the Setup of the Suspension setup is different than by the Toyota 86.
